Handpicked is a winemaking venture based on high quality terroirs, our own single vineyards, organic viticulture, and sustainable winemaking techniques around Australia and beyond. Headquartered at the beautifully sited Capella Vineyard in the Mornington Peninsula, the wines represent the very best of Australian craftsmanship and winemaking excellence. Chief winemaker Peter Dillon oversees a diverse and compelling portfolio of regional, single vineyard and special release wines from company-owned vineyards in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania, as well as select regions from around the world.
Our aim is to produce wines that amplify the character of great vineyard sites and resonate the voice of the land while offering our customers something special, reliable, and delicious to drink. We are achieving this through sustainable and responsible custodianship, the latest in technology and techniques, meticulous selection, and imaginative winemaking. Handpicked bring to life the essence of the Australian landscape and our modern wine culture. And we also explore, select and craft wines from other countries including Italy and the USA. Transparency, purity, definition, precision, and complexity are the hallmarks of our regional, collection, single vineyard, and numbered series styles.
Our wines, at whatever price point, are always delicious to drink and offer customers a memorable and evocative wine drinking experience. We only ever release wines that will meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.
